We are a unique program that differs from the standard “Blue Santa” charities. With the Deputy Sanford Claus Foundation, there are two ways that you may sponsor a child.

You can either make a tax-deductible monetary contribution to the foundation, OR you may be provided with the specific name and wish list of a deserving child. You may either purchase the items on that list through Amazon and have them sent directly to the Foundation or you can purchase the gifts from a store and drop them off (either wrapped or unwrapped) to us, so we can deliver them.

A police officer (deputy) will deliver your gifts, wrapped and in Santa bags, on Christmas Eve, in a patrol car, to the child’s residence. If possible, photos will be taken of your sponsored child receiving the gifts and provided to you. Of course, sleigh bells will be played over the patrol car’s PA system as the presents are being delivered. The children will be told that the world has become so crowded with kids, that Santa now has police officers deliver gifts in certain areas for him, to ensure that every child will get to experience Christmas.
